Welcome to the Indianapolis Aikikai

“The purpose of Aikido is to train mind and body and make an individual sincere.” — Morihei Ueshiba, Founder of Aikido

At the Indianapolis Aikikai we are dedicated to providing exceptional martial arts instruction in the Japanese martial art of aikido. To that end, our instructors and members have a wide variety martial arts experience and have traveled across the country and overseas to train with the best aikido instructors in the world.

Dojo Information

Please note that aikido, under the auspices of the Indianapolis Aikikai, is one of five complementary arts studied at the dojo. In addition to aikido, there are classes in judo, jodo, iaido, and Systema. For more information about judo visit SáKuru Ryu Judo – Jujutsu. For more more information about iaido visit Indy Iaido.

Together, these arts make up Enryu Dojo.

We are extremely fortunate to have excellent instructors for each of these martial arts. Another added bonus is that the monthly dues allow members to train in all of the offered classes.
